The shortest airport run in Puglia
Brindisi Airport to Ostuni is 37.7 km and about 31 minutes — the shortest transfer to any of the region’s main bases, and the reason Ostuni is such a forgiving place to arrive in late. From Bari the same town is roughly an hour to an hour and a quarter, so if your flight options are even, Brindisi is the better airport for this corner of Puglia.
The drive itself is olive groves, and then Ostuni appears white on its hill about ten minutes out. It is one of the better first impressions in Italy, and it is wasted on someone trying to read a satnav.
